George Couros – Parkland School Division, Canada
We’re very excited to have international speaker, George Couros joining us from Canada as our opening keynote.
George will be presenting “Learning and Leading in a Digital Age” based upon his own experience of what it means to be a connected educator and the importance of using social media to help enhance the learning opportunities for ourselves, as well as our students.
Doing this together is an amazing opportunity because it helps to create true “learning organizations”.
Tony Bryant, principal of Silverton Primary School
Tony has impressed several of the committee members who have heard him speak and he comes highly recommended. He will be talking to you about innovating learning with and through technology.
Margot Foster – Department of Education and Child Development
As Director Pedagogy & Leadership at DECD, Margot will be addressing the conference about the relationship between what we know about powerful pedagogy for learning, the need for learners to do the intellectual work and how ICT provides a beautiful foundation for this.
We are hoping to update details about this presentation that will include 2 additional speakers from the New Media team in DECD.
